Gorgeous Mommy & Me Garden Glamour Session
This happy little sitter was all smiles! The gardens were so beautiful and went perfectly with the adorable outfits Mom had her dressed in. She was so content this whole session took about 45 minutes and we had three scenes and three outfit changes.
I loved capturing the candid moments of her snuggling Mom and making funny faces. Capturing connections and genuine expressions is one of my favorite things about photography. Photographing a face that only Mom sees at home and documenting it for her baby album makes me feel like I’m documenting a moment in time. History as you make it. These are such precious fleeting moments and looking back on my own kids baby albums together or with friends and family brings such joy. I hope to help all of my parents feel the same and create their own little piece of history.
All babies sit up at different ages so we encourage parents to call for their Sitter Session when they can sit on their own. Sitter Sessions are very quick as they loose attention fast at this age. One Setup takes about five minutes and I like to keep the entire session under an hour.

I look forward to your own baby’s session!

Check out this SUPER BABY themed Session in the park. I love it so much when parents bring their own artistic visions to the shoot. This Mom knew when she called me a month before baby was due that she wanted a Superman Theme for her portraits and I think we did a great job pulling it off together. Of course we had to add a formal vintage segment into the session since we were at such a gorgeous park on a beautiful day. Big and Little Sisters added their own fun loving flare to the day as well.

Photography is a real living time machine, your own personal journey into the past. A photograph is evidence that time existed, life was lived, places were traveled, people were met, laughs were had, and adventures were experienced. A photo album is your own story, science fiction novel, or comic book.
I had so much fun being creative while transforming this sleepy super shot below into a comic strip. I had this idea when I wrote the above poem two years ago. This past Summer I was able to bring it to life and this little guy now has his own comic book page.
Whats your story? What book would you like create your own page out of? What movie would you like to star in? What places have you traveled? Who have you met? What have you laughed about? These are all things we incorporate into our daily lives when we choose what to wear, what to eat, where to go, how to decorate. Why not design your next photo session using your own dreams?

We have been having so much fun as our Harkness Park Sessions wrap up! How adorable are these two siblings. I love photographing children having fun. It makes for a much more pleasant photo session if babies and children just think were there to play. Then you can bring out their smiles and expressions naturally while still capturing precious moments and creating stunning artistic portraits. Next time you take your children for portraits think about what games they like to play, what songs they like to sing and dance to, and what toys they may want to bring that match with the theme of your session. In the meantime check out these cuties having fun below.
We are all done photographing at Harkness Park this year. Head over to the NewsRoom to find out were we will be next.
How Sweet are these baby brothers. Believe it or not these baby boys were both preemies. Big Brother was born at 2lbs 6 ounces and I photographed his newborn session when he was three months old. Check it out here Dreamy Baby Boy Session As you can see he has grown just fine and into a healthy active little boy.
This new little guy was also born early at 1lb 9 ounces and was three months old and 7lbs 5 ounces when we scheduled this session. These two are truly miracle babies and best brothers soon to be best friends. I’m so happy I got to know this family and feel privileged to be their photographer.
My favorite part of photographing babies is seeing all their unique individual personalities right away. How such a new little baby can already show their own identity traits and qualities. It’s amazing! Did you know I have photographed over 300 babies!! I cannot believe it! I love when parents come back to me for their babies sitter sessions as well. Its so great to see how these babies grow and change.

How Elegant is this Gorgeous Garden Wedding?
This Sweet Couple followed their dream and actually got married in Big Sur, CA.
When they got back to their Hometown in the Cozy New England Corner of the world they had a wedding reception for their family and friends to celebrate their marriage. And what a celebration it was. Their family threw them a Beautiful Backyard BBQ with gardens, games, speeches, dancing, dinner, and of course cake! Anyone can tell how loving and supportive their family and friends are of their vows to love each other and start a new life together.
I felt privileged to be a part of their Special Day and wish them all the happiness they deserve in their future to come.

I just had to share this action shot I captured of the Groom’s nephew playing wiffle ball in the gardens. Too Cool!
Can you tell the last half of the wedding portraits were taken after Sunset and into Dusk? Twilight Portraits are a fun genre of wedding and portrait photography. Typically great portraits are taken during the Golden Hour which is an hour before sunset. Then comes Sunset, Twilight, Dusk, and Night. After the sunsets there is still enough light during Twilight to capture really cool photos. Then comes Dusk and then Night where if you have a pretty good flash system you can still get great portraits even in the dark believe it or not. Also the Moon is still letting off a good amount of light which is why everyone loves taking photos of the moon.
Check out some more of my Twilight, Dusk, and Night Portraits below.
