This gorgeous high school senior photo session was taken during the class foliage months in New England. Believe it or not this located at an exclusive golf course here in Connecticut. When this young lady shared her Autumn Artistic Vision with me I knew it had to be here when I saw these naturally vivid colors and romantic dreamy settings.

How great is this Rustic High School Senior Session?! Nestled in a fabulous New England Tree Farm, this setting was perfect for what this Mom and Daugther had in mind. With barns, lanterns, pine trees, and blankets, creating the scene for cozy sweaters and adding a few frames with Mom and Brother, it made for the perfect portrait day!
Weren’t these guys great to humor me for our yearly family photo session??!! Of course it wouldn’t be our family photo shoot without my youngest giving me rabbit ears! Even after I bribed him to come and pretend to be happy. Fifteen years old, YES he has to pretend. LOL. I was still super grateful to all three of them for these photos. It’s so important to me that I have these photos. I LOVE Photos. Obviously… For me its a documentation of the past, present, and future of our family. Have you ever looked at an old photo album of yourself with your parents or even your grandparents. Aren’t you so grateful for those photos and memories. And while your looking at old memories your making new memories, right? Those are such precious moments in time and you will always remember them. Its so important to document these years because someday you are going to be the parent or grandparent that your children and grandchildren are looking through old photos with. Yes I think about that. That’s how special those memories have been for me with my parents and grandparents and even with my aunts and uncles. When your laughing and having fun in real time, one day you will be laughing and having fun while remembering about laughing and having fun. Sounds crazy I know but I don’t want to miss a single second of it. I hope you don’t either. Get your family together. Get those portraits taken. Get those albums made. You will be so grateful for it all one day.
Photography is the only real time machine. A photograph is your own personal journey into the past. A photo album is your own Story, Science Fiction Novel, or Comic Book. A photograph is evidence that time existed, life was lived, places were traveled, people were met, laughs were had, and adventures were experienced. Karrie Knowles

This little dancing beauty was full of fun and sass and it was a blast to photograph her dance portraits. As an on location portrait photographer it was so much fun for me to change things up a bit and take dance her portraits in a park as opposed to in the studio with a backdrop. A fun location would also be an urban setting. With Dance Season coming upon us I’d love to do more of these on location dance portraits.
Can you tell I have visions of Spring? Isn’t this the prettiest garden newborn session?! We took these photos in RI at Roger Williams Park. These were taken in the botanical gardens. She w…

This couple was ready for Prom in their glittering red ensemble. Wasn’t he Romantic to hire a photographer to capture these once in a lifetime moments. I especially love the perfect white birch trees that set the backdrop for their matching red and black formal wear at the Foxwood’s Pequot Museum where their Norwich Free Academy Senior Prom was located.
I loved the sunset colored sky we were fortunate to have for this couples winter session. Newlywed of four months, they are leaving this frigid New England weather behind and starting a new adventure in Southern Alabama, heading for warmer weather and new careers. I wish them all the best and cannot wait to see what wonderful things life brings them.
